Ivory Coast

A failed coup attempt in 2002 left the country divided and very unstable. It is a place of lawlessness and chaos outside of the established cities that can provide some type of protection for the citizens. None the less we were invited to come there in 2008 and conduct training with a team of Ivorians led by Koffi Kouakou. Koffi resides in the city of Tiebissou just north of Yamoussoukro which is the capitol. The outcome was God establishing a 6 man team in Tiebissou. They are currently evangelizing the country side reaching into the idol infested interior of their country. Through their evangelism efforts 2 bible studies formed which have recently started meeting as churches. One is in Campus just a few kilometers from the teams headquarters and the other is some distance away in Konankro. The team takes responsibility for their discipleship along with their regular evangelism duties.
